Can Bed Bugs Travel on Electronics?

The crack between the phone case and the phone’s body can allow bedbugs to get inside. However, the phone will probably crush them, making the problem even worse. Also, insecticides for bedbugs can damage the phone, so you may not want to use them on your phone.
The reason why electronics aren’t a good choice for bed bugs is because they’re not designed for long-term living. The constant jostling and residual heat in electronics is overbearing for the tiny creatures. Since bedbugs only need warmth for feeding and digestion, electronics are a bad choice for them.
When bedbugs infest a home, they tend to gravitate to objects around the bed. Hence, it’s not surprising that electronics can become temporary homes for them. In addition to being inconspicuous, electronics also retain a residual warmth. However, there’s no proof that bedbugs can travel on electronics.
