Where Do Spiders Not Live?
Spiders are known to live in many areas of the world, and they are not just creepy. They have evolved into thousands of species, and their range extends across the globe.
Some spiders have adapted to live indoors, and many can be found in damp and humid places. Other spiders prefer the outdoors. Regardless, the basic needs of a spider are the same. These spiders need a place to hide and a way to catch prey.
Some spiders use webs to capture their prey. This includes the common house spider. Commonly found in buildings, these spiders build a whirling web that can catch and hold a large number of insects. It’s not unusual to see these spiders spin new webs in less than a day.
Many spiders have been around for millions of years. They have also spread to most of the world, thanks to their adaptability. In fact, only the polar regions of the planet are lacking in spiders.
There are many ways to find and evict spiders from your home. One common method is to trap them in cups. However, this is not a foolproof strategy.
A better approach is to inspect your home for cracks and gaps. If there are any, you might want to seal them with concrete. Also, you should be vigilant when checking your windows and doors. Occasionally, these spiders will get into your home through a very small opening, such as a dryer vent.
