You can actually get rid of spiders with a spray bottle of water and a dash of bleach. However, it is a safe bet that spiders will find a way to escape.

If you do not like the idea of spiders, the best bet is to capture them in jars. It is possible to kill a spider with a swat, a shoe, or a stick of deodorant.
