The Why Flies Buzz Story
In the 1990s, the popular nature-learning series The Lion King published a story titled “Why Flies Buzz.” The book recounts the story of a monkey who drops a coconut. His sister, below the tree, steps on the coconut, which wakes a snake in the tree. The snake slithers off to the safety of its hole, scaring the rat away.
A fly is also often associated with evil or death. It interrupts a poem or scene, such as a serene scene of a dying person on his deathbed. It’s loud and dirty, and it makes the scene even more eerie. But, what is the story behind this phenomenon?
