The flies love warm, moist manure, because it provides the perfect breeding ground and feeding grounds for their larvae. Fresh manure contains ideal moisture and nutrient content for larvae, and dried manure offers a protective covering for pupae.

Furthermore, fruit flies are very harmful to your health. These critters can spread disease-causing microorganisms. They can contaminate your food, your kitchen area, and your house. This is because fruit flies breed in dirty places such as drain pipes and mops.
