Where Does Cockroach Hide?

Cockroaches like to hide in dark, moist areas. Their bodies are flat, making them easy to slip through cracks and crevices. The longer they can stay hidden, the easier it is for them to reproduce. Once you know where they hide, you can eliminate them, and prevent them from coming back.

Some species of cockroach can be found in attics, ceilings, baseboards, and even door and window trim. They are attracted to paper, glue, and discarded tissues and can hide in these areas. They also like to feed on paper and other materials such as discarded toilet paper.

Cockroaches also like to hide in furniture. If you have a cracked or ripped mattress, they might use the baseboards as their hiding spot. Moreover, cockroaches may be found hiding in corners of walls. If you find them in your house, inspect the baseboards to make sure that they fit flush.

If you find a few roaches on your kitchen counter, try spraying the kitchen with essential oils. Essential oils are known for their insecticidal properties. By spraying it in these hidden areas, you can drive the roaches away from their hiding places. These essential oils have an incredible odor and will deter roaches from returning to these locations.

Cockroaches are not likely to be found in your clothing, but they may be hiding in dresser drawers. If you notice a significant infestation, the infestation may spread to other areas of the house. You can even find a roach hiding inside your computer or other electronics.
