What Do Full Size Bed Bugs Look Like?

A full-sized bedbug can be anywhere from 4 to 7 mm long. The nymph stage is one to two millimeters long. The adult stage can grow up to seven millimeters in length when engorged with blood. The bedbug has a flat body, a beady black eye on one end, and six legs. It also has a flat abdomen and two antennae that have four segments each.
If you have seen a bedbug in a bed, you can try removing it by using a flashlight and a thin card. A business card or old credit card works well. You can also use the thin card to examine the headboard and the bed frame. The next step is to remove the mattress.
