How to Tame Bugs in Grounded
Adding bugs to your home is not something you can do on your own. Luckily, Grounded has updated with bugs, which means you can now tame these creatures into pets and bring them along on your adventures. They also provide certain benefits, including a passive buff.
There are two main types of bugs that you can tame. The first is Weevils. They are nonhostile, but they will drop multiple items when killed. They will also follow you around and give a buff. You can tame them by dropping Mushroom Slurry near them.
You can also tame Ladybugs. These are large, beautiful creatures that you can find in many zones. They will only attack you when they feel threatened. You can make a cardboard structure that will let them climb it. You can also use a damp paper towel to give them water.
Gnats are slow flying insects. They are not a big threat, but they are not easy to defeat. They will also intentionally knock you off balance. They will never land on the ground. You can defeat them by killing them with your pincers. They will also drop items, including Pet Memorial.
Aphids are another type of bug that you can tame. These insects are bright green and passive. They will wander aimlessly, but they will also drop Aphid Honeydew. You can feed them Slurry and they will glow after eating two.
Weevils are also a good bug to tame. These insects are also nonhostile, but they will follow you around and drop multiple items. They can also enter your home through openings or attic vents.
