How to Keep Ants Out of Your Sandbox

Whether you have an ant infestation in your sandbox or you’re looking to get rid of ants in your home, it’s important to know how to keep them out. You can easily repel ants and other insects from entering your sandbox with the help of a few simple steps.

First, make sure that you clean your sandbox regularly. If you leave plant debris or debris from other areas, ants can easily move into your sandbox and make it their home.

If your sandbox isn’t being used, you can cover it with a tarp. This will keep ants and other animals from getting in.

Another way to keep ants out is to use cinnamon. In addition to keeping insects out of your sandbox, cinnamon is also a natural pest repellent. Spray cinnamon essential oil on the ant trails and on windows. It also works as a repellent against adult mosquitoes.

In addition to using cinnamon, it’s also important to keep your sandbox clean. You should make sure that there are no dead bodies or food debris laying around. Ants pick up dead bodies and transport them to their nests.

If you do have an ant infestation in your sandbox, you can use a solution of bleach and water. This can kill ants and other insects but won’t harm your plants.

Alternatively, you can make a bait out of boric acid and jelly. Boric acid is safe to use around pets and people.
