Another common moisture source is leaking pipes. These can go unnoticed for years. It is important to repair leaking pipes. If you have a leaky pipe, be sure to seal the opening so that it remains dry.
Mulch and rock can be attractive to termites, but keep it at least a foot away from your home’s foundation. Trying to place a mulch too close to your house can cause a termite infestation.
