Spider-Man Homecoming – How Old is Peter Parker?

However, a new Spider-Man movie that was released earlier this month, “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” shows us the youthful side of the popular character. Tom Holland plays Peter Parker, who is a teenager.

This is the first Spider-Man movie that focuses on the younger side of the character. The new film mainly takes place in his high school. It includes scenes of civilians in danger and Peter Parker’s judgment calls.

It also has a few throwaway gags. One scene involves an ATM robber. Another features Peter Parker helping the NYPD catch a truck with plutonium. But none of these are actually memorable.

The f-bomb isn’t mentioned too often. It’s a small insinuation, but it’s there. It may be too much for some parents to handle.

Spider-Man Homecoming also shows us the positive side of the character. Tom Holland is a nice, friendly teenage Spider-Man. He wears hoodies and has a high-pitched American accent. Unlike some of the other films in the MCU, the language doesn’t get raunchy.

Despite the glaring absence of a Spider-Man f-bomb, the movie is still a worthwhile entry into the MCU. It’s an enjoyable reboot that captures the feel of the original comics.

The cast is diverse, including Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, and Jamie Foxx. This is the most kid-friendly entry into the MCU so far.
