Is Spider Man Evil?
The question, “Is Spider Man evil?” may seem a strange one. After all, Spider-Man is a working class New Yorker who uses his powers for good. That’s not to say that Spider-Man’s villains aren’t bad.
One of the most popular villains in the Marvel universe is the Lizard. This lizard-man was the result of science gone wrong. He is the villain of Spider-Man’s most famous storyline, “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Venom is another of Spidey’s more evil doppelgangers. This symbiote has the ability to latch itself to its host and feed off their worst attributes. They can be manipulated by the symbiote in order to survive.
Another favorite villain is the Kingpin. In the MCU, he’s likely to appear in Ant-Man: Quantumania. His creation, a robot called Timespinner, thwarted the Avengers by allowing Spider-Man to defeat them.
One of the most evil Spider-Man versions is the Patton Parnel version. His head is a human with eight eyes. His body is covered in hair and he has eight limbs with sharp claws on the ends.
Another villain of the Spider-Man comics is Ai Apaec. He wears a black version of the Spider-Man costume. Although he was originally supposed to be an evil doppelganger of Peter Parker, his role was reduced when the villain became a good counter-character in later years.
The next most popular villain is the Red Goblin. Like Kletus Cassidy, he was designed as an evil version of Spidey.
Norman Osborn is another powerful Spider-Man villain. His character was inspired by Peter Parker’s.
