How Do Flies Come Back to Life?
When a fly is dead, it can’t move its legs and wings. This is because it has tubes in its sides that help it breathe. This allows it to survive without oxygen for long periods of time. It also has the ability to remove water from its breathing tubes, which works in a similar way to cell diffusion and leaching.
Some flies are able to survive the freezing temperatures in the fridge, but most flies cannot survive temperatures below zero. The longer your flies remain in a fridge, the less chance they have of coming back to life. Moreover, the sooner the temperature drops, the more likely it will die. Thus, if you accidentally freeze your flies, you can’t expect them to come back to life.
In addition, some species have very short life cycles. Some of them are scavengers, and their larvae develop very quickly. In addition to this, most female flies begin laying eggs within a few hours after they have reached adulthood. When given the right conditions, female flies can reproduce quickly, which helps them survive and thrive.
In extreme cold conditions, flies do not hibernate, but they slide into a state of diapause. During this time, they slow down development and do not eat. This makes it appear as though they have come back to life. While many flies will disappear altogether during the cold months of winter, others will survive indoors.
