Can Flies Follow You Around?
Flies are not interested in humans, and they will not bite you. However, they will suck up the secretions from your skin. These tiny insects love proteins, sugars, and salts, as well as dead skin and sweat. Common houseflies don’t feed on blood and don’t have a tongue. They also do not sting you.
Flies are small, black bugs with big red eyes. They live inside and outside of homes. They are attracted to rotting food, dead things, oils, and salt. They can also sense smells. Flies have a sixth sense, so they can fly away if they feel threatened.
Vinegar is also a good repellent for flies. You can mix it with dish soap and put it on a dish or in a pan where food is stored. You can also cover suspicious food with plastic wrap. You should use rubber bands to secure the plastic wrap. You can also use old beer or wine as a trap. The small neck of the bottle acts as a natural barrier.
Another fly type that follows you around is the horse fly. This fly lays its eggs in moist soil. It feeds on decayed organic materials. It breeds in forests and woodlands and is most prevalent on windless, hot days.
