But they lost to Exeter Chiefs 19-13 in the play-off semi-final. They now face Munster in the quarter-finals, but will need a home win to ensure they make it through to the knockout stages of the Champions Cup.
Wasps last appeared in the final of the Pilkington Cup in 1987. They lost to Bath in the 1995 final.
