Wasps – Why Do Wasps Chase You?

While it’s not always possible to avoid being stung, you can avoid being attacked by a wasp by removing yourself from the situation as soon as you can. You can also wear protective clothing to avoid being stung.

When you first see a wasp, you should be calm and walk away. If you are surrounded by them, cover your face, mouth, and eyes. If you are not sure what to do, cover your eyes and call an emergency number.

If you are in a car, you can hit them with a blunt object such as a plastic bottle or a hand. Alternatively, you can drive away from the situation.
