Termite queens are a very formidable creature. They are the real monarchs in the colony. They are the ones responsible for producing new members. They can live for decades. But before they do, they need to be killed. The best way to kill a queen termite is to use termiticides that are slow poisons.

During the initial stages of a colony, the workers will bring food to the queen. She will then carry them to the nurseries where she will lay eggs. Once the eggs hatch, the queen can no longer care for herself. During this period, the pheromones that she emits will encourage the king to replace her.

When the queen termite is mature, she lays thousands of eggs every day. Some eggs will become the next queen. When the queen dies, the remaining members of the colony will die. The colony will not survive without her.

Several species of termites have secondary queens. These termites are much larger than the workers. The only difference between the reproductives and the workers is that they do not have wings. They are responsible for building remote nests.

Aside from their pheromones, the queen of a termite colony also emits a large number of insects. These insects are the soldiers that protect the colony. They are also responsible for carrying the newly laid eggs to the nurseries. These workers are also responsible for feeding the colony.

Once a termite queen dies, the colony will not be able to survive. There will be a large number of termites in the colony. These termites will eventually destroy the house. If the colony does not have a king, the queen will be replaced by a special termite that will start a new colony.
