Bait: This is a less invasive approach than using a liquid pesticide. You can buy baits online or in stores. The bait is a combination of cellulose food source and a slow-acting poison.

Boric acid: Another common termite control method involves using boric acid, a processed form of the natural mineral boron. Boric acid is available as powder or as a solution. When termites walk on the boric acid, they die. This is because the acid affects their nervous system.

Putting up a barrier: Putting up a barrier can be a less invasive and cheaper alternative to pesticides. A barrier can be poured on the perimeter of your house or added to the foundation. It’s not always easy to find a barrier in certain states.

Injection: If you’re able to identify the source of your termite problem, you can inject it. If you can’t, you can use a liquid pesticide.
