How High Do Termites Climb?

Termites communicate with each other using chemical signals. These chemical trails help them find food. They are also able to communicate through body vibrations. The workers use pheromones to guide other workers. They also carry food for the colony. The queen lays thousands of eggs every day.

Termites are active year round in warmer climates. During cold weather, they are less active. However, some seasons make them more nocturnal. These include autumn. They also swarm in spring.

Termites are extremely sophisticated bugs. They are not closely related to ants. They have hooks on their feet. They have antennae and a moisture-sensing antenna. They also have internal organs that allow them to hear and detect motion.
