You Should See Me in a Crown

The song “You should see me in a crown” is the title track of Billie Eilish’s first solo single of the year. The single features cryptic verses and a monsterous chorus. It was released as a single on July 18 and is one of the most abrasive tracks in Eilish’s recent catalog. It was also used as the theme song for the professional wrestling pay-per-view event NXT TakeOver: New York.

In the video, Eilish performs the song from a crown, which is surrounded by spiders. The music video, which features Takashi Murakami’s flowers, was reportedly made in eight months.

Eilish met with a spider wrangler to learn about the creature before making the video. Although the singer didn’t actually perform all of the stunts in the video, she did take the plunge and did her own version of it, sharing that the liquid in her eyes stinged.

A few days after making the video, Eilish accompanied it with a teaser. The video, which featured a huge tarantula crawling across her face, received a lot of social media attention. It ranked ninth in the list of most awkward performances on the Ellen DeGeneres show in 2018.

The “You should see me in a crown” music video was a collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The two worked together to create an anime-style video. The video’s cryptic message was made by a villain in the song.

The song was certified platinum in Australia and Canada, as well as a silver certificate in the UK. It has a strong pop/trap core.
