Why Is It Raining Spiders?
Those who live in the Espirito Santo do Dourado municipality in Brazil have witnessed a phenomenon that appears to rain spiders. Residents of the area have said that the phenomenon is common in the summer, especially during hot, humid weather.
Spiders are normally flightless creatures, but they can be carried for hundreds of miles by the wind. They are also able to move up to three miles above the ground. They build webs in places where they believe they can catch prey. They then return at sunrise to feast.
While spiders are not poisonous, their bites are painful and can be itchy. The venom they secrete is harmless and is not more dangerous than bee stings. However, the itchy sensation does fade after a few hours.
In order to survive, spiders must build a home, where they can hide from predators and protect themselves from the elements. They also build a web to help keep flies and other insects in check. They also help humans by killing insect pests.
They can live for several years. They are also docile. They do not bite easily. If you come across a spider, try to leave it alone. If you disturb the nest, the female will bite you.
They can also be stung by a wasp. In some cases, the wasp will drag the spider to a burrow. The spider then spends the night in the burrow, and will then eat its prey during the morning.
