Why Can’t Spiders Climb Glass?

Finally, you have to consider the spider’s weight. Most spiders are too heavy to climb up a glass wall.
Fortunately, a few species have mastered the art of climbing glass. These include tarantulas, which have sticky silk-shooting feet.
The best way to avoid these spiders is to build a fence around your property. If you’re looking for a more permanent solution, you can place Glowstone on the top of your fence. This will allow your mobs to see the light but prevent them from getting through.
