Where Can Spiders Live?
You can find spiders all over the world. They are one of the biggest predators of insects. They kill 400 to 800 million tons of prey each year. The only places in the world without spiders are the polar regions and the highest mountains.
In homes, they are typically found in closets, underneath furniture, and in corners of walls and doors. They tend to stay hidden during the day and come out during the evening for food. They are mostly hunters. They are predators of many pests, including cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, and other insect pests.
They can also be found in barns and sheds. The barns give the spiders a place to hide, as well as a haven for flies and other dead bugs. The sheds can be a good spot for the spiders to lay their eggs.
They can also enter through cracks in the exterior of the house. They can be found in areas where plumbing and cable lines pass through the wall. Jumping spiders can also be a problem, especially if they get inside accidentally.
If you see a large number of spiders in your home, it may be because they’re laying their eggs. They will bury their eggs under the furniture or under pieces of wood. They are able to spin a new web in less than a day.
You can prevent an infestation by clearing clutter. You can also use a deterrent, such as cedar shavings.
