You can also set a trap to catch spiders in your bathtub. You can do this with a clear cup, a piece of glass, or a firm sheet of paper. You can also put the spiders outside, but it is important to remember that they may be frightened by your fear of them.
You may be able to capture the spiders by using a towel. This is especially effective if you are going to release them outdoors. A crumpled up kitchen towel can provide shelter for them.
You can also place a u-bend in the drain to make it difficult for them to climb up. This will prevent them from getting out.
