How Good Is Spider-Man 2099?
If you have been following the recent comics, you have probably heard of Spider-Man 2099. The character first appeared in the year 2099, and is an updated version of the original Spider-Man. His powers include superhuman speed, durability, reflexes, and endurance. He is a renowned geneticist.
He’s also been given retractable claws and a hyper-accurate sense of vision, which acts as an early warning system. In addition, his canine teeth have been sharpened.
He can also make his own webs and shoot a slick adhesive substance from the back of his hands. His Venom Blast is a powerful bio-electric attack that can down powerful foes.
Although his costume is similar to the original Spidey, Miguel doesn’t have his spider-sense. This means that he has to deal with his mother, who resents his character.
Fortunately, the Spider-Man 2099 comics aren’t too bad. They have a unique story, a great look, and a cool vibe. They can be purchased through Comixology or Kindle.
While the comics aren’t as great as Marvel’s other titles, they are still fun. The main character, Miguel O’Hara, is the breakout star of the 2099 line. However, he doesn’t appear as often as you’d like, and the arcs aren’t as interesting as you might expect.
The next time you want to read about a future superhero, be sure to pick up a copy of Spider-Man 2099. He’ll be appearing in the next Marvel event, Across Spider-Verse, which will be happening in 2018.
