How Come Spider-Man Isn’t on Disney Plus?
WouterDisney Plus is set to launch on March 8th. This streaming service will provide subscribers with access to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition to Marvel films, it will also feature classic Spider-Man animated series. In fact, there are already two Spider-Man cartoons in the library.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a joint project between Disney and Marvel Studios. Marvel has used Hulk in many of its movies, including Avengers: Endgame. But “The Incredible Hulk” hasn’t made it to Disney Plus. However, Universal Pictures, which owns distribution rights, isn’t involved in the deal. Despite the deal, it’s not certain that Marvel’s solo movies will appear on the service.
Several Sony Spider-Man movies will make their way to Disney Plus over the next five years. These include Spider-Man 3, Into the Spider-Verse, and Far From Home. It’s not clear when these movies will be available to the global audience on Disney+, though. It’s possible that Netflix will become the first platform to stream all of these movies.
In the meantime, you can check out the first two Spider-Man films on Starz. The third film will debut on the network in the US. You can also watch some of the Spider-Man animated series on Disney Plus.
