How Accurate is Spider-Man PS5 New York?
Spider-Man has a devoted love for New York. It’s not just the fact that he can web rats, squirrels, pigeons and a lot of other things. It’s also that he’s able to leap from the craziest of intersections.
So how accurate is Spider-Man’s version of New York? Honestly, it’s not as accurate as some might think. While Insomniac Games did a great job replicating neighborhoods, the actual city wasn’t completely reconstructed.
The game does include some of the most iconic landmarks in the city. The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral are some of the most notable. The game also features the famous Golden Statue of Angels.
While it does a good job recreating New York, it’s still a pretty small map. As a result, some parts of the city don’t get the attention they deserve. This is especially true of Queens and Brooklyn.
Queens and Brooklyn have a lot of great neighborhoods. For example, Park Slope and Forest Hills are both beautiful, but they’re not included in the game. The city has many other neighborhoods.
The Manhattan map in the game isn’t as large as other Sony first party games. It doesn’t even include Sugar Hill or other areas of Manhattan. While this may not be a huge deal to many people, it would be a big deal to a Manhattanite. It’s the kind of thing that could make the third entry feel a little stale.
