Does Vinegar Kill Spiders?
There are several different ways to kill spiders. One of the most commonly used is vinegar. Although it can be useful, it does not kill spiders on its own. However, it is quite effective at repelling them.
In the same vein, there is also diatomaceous earth. This is a natural substance that is made from algae that is derived from the bottom of rivers. It is not only non-toxic to humans, it also kills spiders by absorbing moisture.
Another good example of a vinegar-based trick is to saturate cotton balls with apple cider vinegar. Spiders hate the smell. You can place these balls in areas where spiders tend to lurk.
The same solution can be used to prevent spiders from landing on your furniture. You can even spray it on the walls and on the corners of your home. Depending on the size of your problem, you may need to use a stronger solution.
You can even create your own homemade vinegar and water spray. You will need two parts white vinegar, one part water and a spray bottle. Shake the mix before using it.
If you have a large problem with spiders, it may be wise to hire a professional. A trained pest control expert can determine if your problem is a simple case of a few arachnids or a more serious infestation.
You can also try spraying vinegar on the eggs of the spiders you want to eradicate. This will ensure that they won’t find a way to get inside your house.
