In addition, rats enjoy toys and cardboard boxes. A few treats can’t hurt either. Some rats even enjoy pea fishing.

Rats are easy to care for, with minimal odor and a low risk of biting. They’re sociable and can easily bond with their owners. They can also learn new tricks easily. They live an average of two and a half years.
