How Do Rats Live?

Rats live in a variety of environments, including basements, attics, and walls. They prefer warm places with easy access to food, water, and material they need to build a nest. Rats can live up to three years, depending on their species and environment. In the wild, their lifespan is often cut short by predators. However, rats can live much longer than three years in captivity.
