How to Make Cockroaches Less Scary

Cockroaches are not a frightening thing but they can make anyone feel uncomfortable. They live in a communal environment and reproduce quickly. They are found in new buildings and homes and can be brought into a home from a neighbor’s house. They can also multiply and infest dark corners of a house. The good news is that these bugs are relatively easy to get rid of.

Cockroaches have a habit of entering human homes and apartments. They will come in through holes in walls, cracks in baseboards and damp basements. They are also known to enter through ventilation shafts. They are not particularly aggressive and will not bite or scratch you.

Cockroaches are oviparous, meaning that they lay eggs in an egg sac called the ootheca. These sacs can contain up to fifty eggs. Cockroaches prefer dark, moist areas, such as behind your refrigerator, under your sink, and other major appliances.

Cockroaches are also very curious. They like to investigate bright things and transfer the experiences to their fellow cockroaches. A cockroach with a torn head can live a few more weeks, but without a head it will die of hunger. But there are ways to make cockroaches less scary.

Cockroaches are easily killed by lowering the temperature in the room. A temperature of -8 degrees Celsius is enough to kill a cockroach. Alternatively, you can place a citrus-scented cleaner in strategic areas around your home. Keeping food and moisture out of the sleeping quarters is also a good way to repel roaches.
