You would find food when necessary. Bedbugs are attracted to CO2 and heat, which are both present in your home. If you have a pet at home, your bedbugs are likely to be attracted to its warmth.
One way to identify bedbugs is to search for red, brown, or black spots that appear along the seams of your mattress. You can also look for them in the folds of your sheets.
