How Important Is Ant Man?
Throughout his many incarnations, Ant Man has played a role in the history of the Marvel Comics Universe. He has been a member of the Avengers, a solo hero, and a crime-fighting partner to Wasp. He is also a part of Marvel’s The Children’s Crusade mini-series. His most recent appearance is in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Ant-Man was created by Henry “Hank” Pym in 1962. Pym was a scientist with an interest in robotics. He invented a chemical substance that could alter size. Pym shared this discovery with Janet van Dyne. He was able to shrink himself to the size of an insect. He then built a robotic suit.
In the comics, Ant-Man is a superhero named Scott Lang. He wears a cybernetic helmet that allows him to communicate with insects. It also provides him with electrical charge. He can also defend himself.
Ant-Man is a part-time crusader who has protected the innocent. His powers are basic and he has to work very hard to avoid failure. Nevertheless, he’s never complained.
He also has a complicated relationship with Wasp. She’s been his crime-fighting partner, but he hasn’t had much time to get to know her. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has remade Pym and his story, and Scott Lang’s story, as a way to salvage the best parts of the comics.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a must see. It will introduce a new big bad, Kang the Conqueror, and complete a trilogy on Scott Lang. It will also introduce the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
