Will WD40 Kill Wasps?

If you’re trying to kill wasps, you should consider using a bug zapper. These devices emit a strong odor that insects are drawn to. Some species of ichneumon wasps and crane flies are particularly attracted to them. These insects suffocate instantly.

Another option is to use soap and water. You can make a homemade spray with dish soap and two cups of water. Apply the solution to a wasp nest and let it soak for a few hours. The soapy water will block the spiracles of the wasps, causing them to die. Then you can remove the nest and throw it in a plastic bag.

If you’re still having trouble with wasps, you can try making a liquid trap. A homemade trap can include a chunk of raw meat and some soapy water. Hanging the meat from a tree or other area can also help keep wasps away.
