Munster are already through to the knockout stages of the Champions Cup. They have a good record against touring teams, including famous wins against Australia and New Zealand. They will need to beat Wasps at home to progress.
Munster dominated the first half, scoring two tries before going into the break with a 24-7 lead. Munster were down a man following an incident that saw Charlie Atkinson sin-binned for cynical play. They then scored a bonus-point try when Loughman ran in from close range on four minutes into the second half.
Munster pushed on and scored two more late tries to close the match out. They had a slender lead in the first half, having won a breakdown penalty in the 22nd minute. The ball was presented to O’Donoghue, who went off his feet but was penalised.
Wasps were in good form when they beat Toulouse 30-22 last weekend, and they welcome back Dan Robson to the side after a two-month absence. However, they are without Alfie Barberary, Tom Willis and Jimmy Gopperth.
Wasps will be hoping to end their season on a high against the Munster side. They have won three of their last four matches and will be hoping to secure a top eight finish.
