How Are Wasps Attracted to Movement?
During the summer, you might have noticed wasps flying around. They are attracted to sweet foods, fruits, meats, sugary aromas, garbage, and standing water. However, in the fall, wasps become hungry and they are more likely to sting. You can reduce their attraction by eliminating some of the foods that they are attracted to.
If you have a lot of wasps, consider putting them in a wasp trap. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the wasps. If they are in a building, you can leave the doors and windows open. They may move to the light inside the structure.
A wasp trap can be set inside a jam jar with a hole in the lid. You can also fill the jar with water and place it on the ground. This will keep the wasps out of the jar and will keep them from being able to sting you. If they are inside, you may have to wear gloves to keep the wasps from stinging you.
Wasps can be a real nuisance if they are inside your house. They are known to sting people when they are disturbed. You may accidentally step on them or they may accidentally get into your clothing. Wear thick gloves to protect yourself.
If you are unable to get rid of the wasps, you can contact a pest professional to inspect your property. They can identify the factors that attract wasps and treat your property.
