Another way to kill wasps is to spray their nests with insecticidal soap. Insecticidal soap is water-soluble and suffocates flying insects, seals breathing orifices, and leaves no stain on fabrics. This method will not kill bees or hornets. You can also mix dish soap and water to spray the nests. This mixture will also clog the spiracles of wasps and kill them.

The best way to avoid wasps and hornets is to keep them away from your patio. If you don’t have an outdoor area, you can make your own traps. You can make a trap by cutting the top of a bottle. Or you can use a foaming spray to attract the wasps and trap them in a nest.

You can also use Formula 409 to kill bees and hornets. If you are worried about wasps, you can spray the nest with this mixture and let it soak for 24 hours.
