How to Find Silverfish Without a Stronghold in World of Warcraft
If you don’t have a Stronghold, you may be wondering how you can get silverfish. A Stronghold is a large underground structure. They are usually made up of stone bricks, iron doors, and treasure chests. You can find them by using the Eye of Ender.
When you first visit a Stronghold, you may find silverfish. These small, hostile mobs spawn in the Stronghold and are easily killed.
Silverfish are usually found in Extreme Hills and Extreme Mountains biomes. However, they are not found in mountain biomes or slab variants.
In Strongholds, silverfish spawn from infested blocks. These blocks can be any type of stone block. This block can be cobblestone, regular stone, or stone bricks.
Strongholds are typically split by ravines, mineshafts, and caves. Sometimes, the Stronghold is just an abandoned castle that has been buried underground. Often, these structures will have several rooms and a staircase leading to the end portal.
To avoid encountering these types of hostile mobs, you can use a Silk Touch enchanted block. It’s also the best way to avoid extreme biomes.
Unlike other types of mobs, silverfish do not drop anything. Their damage only occurs when they get close to the player. Once they are hit, they will attack and incite other nearby silverfish to attack.
As silverfish grow in a swarm, they can deal a lot of damage. This damage will decrease the health of the player.
The best way to kill a swarm of silverfish is to use a diamond sword with Sweeping Edge. That way, you can take out the entire swarm in one swipe.
