Why Is Lab Rats Elite Force Cancelled?
The first season of Lab Rats: Elite Force began airing on March 2, 2016. The show was a big hit among Lab Rats and Mighty Med fans. But, Disney hasn’t made a final decision on renewing it for a second season. That’s despite the community’s demands for it on social media.
The series’ storyline follows the adventures of a team of bionic heroes. They team up with other superheroes like Kaz, Oliver, Skylar, and Bree. The show is rated TV-Y7, which means it’s for children seven and older. However, parents need to know that this show will be more suitable for their children if they can tell the difference between reality and fantasy.
Mighty Med premiered on Disney XD in 2013 and ran for two seasons. It was followed by the spinoff, Lab Rats: Elite Force, which will be available on Disney+ soon. The spinoff series will feature characters from both shows. The characters from Mighty Med and Lab Rats are close friends. They often tweet each other and stand near each other during interviews. In the new series, Chase has a girlfriend.
While the new season of Lab Rats: Elite Force ended on a cliffhanger, the cast has grown more skilled in their performances and have even mutated their characters to make it more campy. While there are a few characters who lack powers, the majority of the cast consists of “passably white” actors and actresses. They’re a far cry from the teen-agers and nerds of the original series.
