Why Are Rats Cute?
There are many reasons why rats are adorable. In addition to their cuddly personalities, these rodents have very easy-going personalities and don’t require exercise. Moreover, they are very social and get along well with the rest of their squad. Keeping a rat as a pet may be a great idea for people who love animals.
Rats are gentle and friendly, and they do not bite humans. They also develop emotional bonds with their cage mates and their owners. In most cases, rats are sold at pet stores or from private breeders. They originated from China but now live in all continents except for Antarctica. Lab rats, on the other hand, are not sold to the public. These animals are bred for research purposes, and they are not meant for pets.
Rats are more common than squirrels in cities. They are found in every neighborhood, and there are as many as 2 million rats living in New York City alone. They eat garbage and take up residence in sewers. They can also invade homes and cause havoc in attics. Squirrels, on the other hand, are typically found in wooded areas, and can be friendly to humans.
Rats can carry various diseases, but their transmission to humans does not seem to be on the same level as that of squirrels. As a result, people don’t think about avoiding rats when they see them. Instead, they react with a mixture of recoiling, shrieking, and fainting.
