Lab Rats Elite Force Cancelled
If you’ve ever yearned to join a super-powered team, then you’ve probably seen Lab Rats: Elite Force. The animated show merged Lab Rats and Mighty Med into one, and featured William Brent, Jake Short, Paris Berelc, and Kelli Berglund as members of the elite team. It premiered on Disney XD on March 2, 2016 and concluded on October 22, 2016.
Although Disney never explained why they cancelled Lab Rats Elite Force, the lack of viewership and ratings likely contributed to the show’s cancellation. The series is set in a bustling metropolis where the Mighty Med hospital was destroyed. After a catastrophic event, Adam and Leo volunteer to supervise the students of Davenport’s Bionic Academy. They are soon joined by Oliver and Skylar, who join with Chase and Bree to form a super-strong elite force of superheroes and bionic heroes. They vow to fight the villains and save the city.
The show was created by Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore and stars William Brent, Bradley Steven Perry, Jake Short, and Paris Berelc. There were no sequels to the show, which only lasted one season. It is unclear when the show will return or if it will be renewed. However, the show is no longer available on Netflix, and there is no information about the renewal of the series.
In the season finale of “Lab Rats,” Davenport brings Chase and Bree to a penthouse in Davenport Tower, where there is a mission command center. The two girls meet Kaz, the head of the Elite Force. Kaz wants them to find the people who destroyed Mighty Med, but they must devise a plan first. When a message is delivered to the penthouse, declaring the destruction of superheroes, Chase and Bree must make the necessary preparations and take action to protect themselves and the city.
