Does Rats Bite Humans?

When a rat bites a human, it is important to wash the area thoroughly with warm water and apply a bandage. If the wound is swollen or deep, it is best to visit a doctor for treatment. Minor wounds can be covered with a plaster and should heal within a few days. However, bites near joints or other areas of the body may be more serious and require further investigation.
Many people have suffered rat bites while they slept. Some have even died as a result of their experiences. The fact that these creatures bite humans is not surprising, considering they are prone to carrying a variety of diseases. These critters can be quite harmful to human health, not to mention damaging businesses.
