During a hike, one hiker found that Avon Skin So Soft spray was very effective as an insect repellent. The spray worked for about 40 minutes. This insect repellent must be applied to every inch of skin that is exposed. This insect repellent also repels other bugs such as ticks.

Some products contain geraniol, an alcohol that is also found in citrus oils. Geraniol can be very irritating to skin and eyes. If you are worried about using geraniol, try a product that contains DEET. DEET is a chemical that is known to repel insects.

There are many natural mosquito repellents. Some of them include citronella. In addition, many of these repellents use tea tree oil, which is also known for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

In a recent study, researchers compared the effectiveness of three different insect repellents. Two of the products were made with DEET, and the third was made with a special mixture that included a mixture of 15 mL of 100% eucalyptus oil, 500 mL of tap water, and 5 percent acetic acid.

The study found that the product did not work as well as the DEET products. It was also found that the oil did not match the repellents that contained soybean oil.

There are a few products that claim to use neem oil as a natural alternative to DEET. However, it is not approved as a topical repellent. Neem oil should be diluted with a moisturizer.
