How to Get Rid of Head Lice Just by Combing

When you are trying to get rid of head lice, you need to do more than just brush and comb. You need to thoroughly comb your hair. This will take at least two to four hours, depending on the length. Then you should apply a lice shampoo and leave it on for a few minutes.

Besides using lice shampoo, you can also use essential oils. These oils have been proven to be effective in eliminating head lice, but they must be used in small amounts to avoid side effects. For this reason, you need to make sure to dilute them with a carrier oil.

After shampooing and drying your hair, use a lice comb. Start from the top of the head and work your way down to the ends. Make sure to rinse it with warm water between strokes. Repeat this procedure at least five times. You need to do this for a few days in a row.

Combing with a nit comb is another effective method to get rid of head lice. Using a fine-toothed comb, wet combing with a conditioner, and a lice comb can kill them. The conditioner can also make it harder for them to grip your hair and crawl around.
