Head Lice Treatment Kills Eggs

Lice are small, crawling insects that feed off of human blood. Adult head lice are gray or tan in color and are about the size of a sesame seed. Their eggs, known as nits, look like dandruff but aren’t as easily removed. Lice attach nits to strands of hair close to the scalp.
