When the Crow Flies – A Review

When the Crow Flies is a series based on a novel and column by Birce Akalay, an experienced journalist and novelist. It is produced and distributed by BBC Worldwide Americas Inc. and was renewed for a second season. The series has received rave reviews and is well worth watching.

It is a good thriller and depicts power struggles between ambitious people. Its plot is fluid and compelling, which makes it easy to binge-watch. The cast does an amazing job. The series will leave you feeling like you are part of the action. It is not for the faint of heart.

The story focuses on the clash between Gen X and Gen Z. While Gen X is trying to adapt to a new world, it is unaware of the bigger picture. The film’s protagonist, Asli, tries to climb the career ladder without relying on hard work and merit. He is challenged by Lale, an idealistic and experienced news anchor who tries to keep up with Asli.

As the Crow Flies has a rousing story that captivates viewers. It is a Turkic original and the majority of the cast and crew are Turkic. This may have influenced Netflix’s decision to film it in Istanbul, but it was also a logistical choice. Turkey is also a big market for Netflix, which continues to invest in the country and produce original shows.
