Do Flies Go to Heaven?

Flies are not only an important part of nature, they also have spiritual and biblical meanings. In the Bible, flies are considered punishment from God, messengers of a difficult future life, and a reminder to overcome challenges and change. The fly can be a symbol for those who are unworthy or those who do not appreciate God’s gifts.

In the Bible, the LORD called all the animals on the earth, including the reptiles and birds of the air. Adam then named all the quadrupeds and birds of the air. Each soul in the animal kingdom is numbered, just like human beings. However, unlike humans, animal souls are not able to go to heaven. If a fly is killed by a human, its soul will accuse the human who killed it.

In the Bible, the angels are real beings who serve God. Their power comes from God and is limited. This is illustrated in the ninth and tenth chapters of Daniel. The angel Gabriel appeared before Daniel because of Daniel’s earnest prayers. His petition caused Gabriel to “fly swiftly” (Daniel 9:17). Furthermore, angels can only be present in one place at a time, so it’s unlikely that they’re everywhere at once.
