The symptoms of fleas can be very serious. These symptoms include hives and small bumps that itch and bleed. This is caused by allergic reactions to the fleas’ saliva. Moreover, the head of the affected pet may also scratch excessively. This will cause the skin to break and may also lead to infections. Fortunately, lice and fleas are treatable with the right medications and prevention.
