If you’re unsure where to spray cockroach spray, you can use soapy water to suffocate cockroaches. This mixture forms a thin film on roaches’ bodies, which prevents them from moving or digesting food. It’s important to shake the solution well for best results. However, this solution is temporary, and you’ll need to use a more effective cockroach control product to eradicate the cockroaches completely.

Once you’ve identified an area where cockroaches are congregating, you can place bait stations in the area. If the infestation is extensive, you’ll need to reapply the bait at regular intervals. American cockroaches prefer dark, moist areas. They’ll congregate in floor drains, sump pumps, pipe chases, and laundry rooms. You’ll also find them in outdoor areas, such as backyards, and around trash cans. Getting a thorough inspection of these areas will prevent the spread of the cockroaches to other areas of the home.
