Do Bed Bugs Make Webs?
Bed bugs are a very smart little insect. They are not only incredibly quick at identifying where to feed, but they also have the ability to communicate through pheromones. This allows them to travel by traveling in the belongings of human families and spread their smell. In addition to this, bedbugs do not make webs.
Adult bedbugs are about one-quarter-inch long, and have flattened, segmented bodies. Their body is whitish, but the front portion is red. These insects produce a sweet, musty odor from their thorax. They live for a year or two, shedding their skins several times.
Bed bugs are nocturnal, active mostly at night. During the day, they hide in hidden corners of your house, and only surface at night to feed. These bugs hide in the bed frames and mattresses, but they will also hide in dressers and under wallpaper. They will usually stay close to your bed during the day, but they can travel up to 100 feet away if they need a meal. Regardless of their location, you should be vigilant and take immediate action against these annoying pests.
Bed bugs are a persistent pest problem. Even after a thorough treatment, some bed bugs will reappear. You must work with your pest control professional to eradicate bed bugs.
